The bottom line of all this, for me, is that we should not judge the intentions of the many based on the actions of a few. We need to judge people as individuals and take actions accordingly based on those individual's actions.

And, yes, if you are a bystander and do nothing, you are complicit in the results.

This applies regardless of which side of the disagreement you are on.

I think you would find that our thoughts on the broader subject are similar. The only difference is on opposing views on if it can be "fixed".

Oh and my concern that coovd is being used as an excuse for things that have a very different actual cause.

Generally such things die as quickly as they start here.

This why I abandoned the Covid threads since political leanings were ruling what was being said.

So I've chosen to avoid most forms of social media. I know a lot of people will assume my silence as pro-agenda for whichever side, but I'd rather stay out of the matter.

I run a sizeable whisky related IG and this morning almost every post I saw was just a black box for blackout tuesday or whatever it's called.



Personally, I'd rather not speak about it. (I'm a double minority, my voice isn't any louder or quieter than anyone else exercising their free speech. Welcome to america)

If you're not saying anything, it's fine. It doesn't mean you're being complicit. It just means you are exercising your right to not say anything at all which can be a form of speech. Silence. Big surprise. Or it can mean you're neutral and you're waiting for all of the actual facts to be released to make a decision.

So can ANYONE tell me for sure this cop was a racist and not just a power tripping officer that manslaughtered another human? Race isn't even relevant unless it can be proven that it is. He could easily just be a s*** human.

The cop in question has killed and attempted to kill multiple other people who are minorities, and has a dozen police brutality complaints lodged against him.

This isn't anything new for him, he just chose to do this one at a very bad time.
