Convert FF from sec O2 to evap
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a flex fuel that will work with the OFT because I'm a cheapo, but I was wondering if I could convert a sec O2 plug flex fuel kit to an evap input flex fuel. I read that the evap and o2 sensor port are both just inputs into the ECU. By that logic, it shouldn't matter which pin I input at, right? I read that OFT flex fuel will only work with evap inputs. Also, does Shiv give flex fuel tunes for free? Or is it an additional cost? Thanks all! |

That was quick!
Thanks for your insight. If I have to buy a tune, I think it'll be cheaper to buy the OFT flex fuel kit new... Thanks! |

I thought so too until I did more research on the smogging requirements for CA. EVAP is the only thing that can fail. Don't know why (maybe its just gas vapors vs full on air emissions). But as long as that is true, I just got to find a better way to hide my FF sensor prior to smog (making it look oem rather than on top of the brake/abs module)
