I don't think it's a BBK issue. I'm quite certain it's my choice of pads and install method. There's bound to be a pad from Carbotech which is more quiet than the AX6 (though I've never tried). And...if I wasn't lazy about the anti- squeel, the noise would be less.

It's been a common complaint with this BBK for some time. I can't recall what pads silence them on the street.


I run stock calipers/disks and switch pads and rotors when going back to street. I hate the noise. It sounds like I'm driving a car with a brake problem.

True. I do recall some posting that they had pads that were quiet but can't seem to remember what pads or when. Most complain that they're noisy...



I'd like someone/many to confirm (again?) quiet pads for street driving.
