Certainly easier to say stage 2, than the half a dozen mods it takes to describe the level your build is at.

Easier to say stage 2 clutch than clutch rated for XX torque.

It’s all semantics anyway. Even if we wanted too, we could never get everyone to agree on the definition of each stage. My BRZ is currently at stage 1.7223
Ah, good old stage 1.7223, I remember that stage well, fun times. Just wait till you reach stage 1.8456, get that lightweight carbon fiber shift knob it unlocks a whole new world. Those civics won’t know what hit them.

Naah before this car I had a cobb tuned mk6 gti. So when it comes on to power I just hate the na power. Lol. I honestly bought this car for the superior handling and the fact that I can customize it the way i want it. And turbo is next on the list of mods. Right now I'm stage 2 and it only feels good shift in the high rpms.

Personally, I feel it is hard to justify spending the money to go FI on this car when there is a 2nd gen version that may have a turbo releasing in about a year from now. It would just make way more sense to get the new one with factory boost for a variety of reasons. I think the only power mods that make sense doing at this point are air filter, inlet tube, header, and tune. We will just have to wait and see what the 2nd gen actually has when they announce it.

I doubt it is going to be an easy swap. People can't even swap the 2017+ motors into the 2013-2016 models without major headaches.
