Hey guys, I'm Brian. I just bought a 2013 FRS base model on Saturday and I love it, it's everything I hoped it would be lol.
It's a 6 speed with 56,000 miles on it. As of right now it's bone stock but I plan to do a few simple/tasteful modifications. Probably exhaust and eventually wheels. Nothing too crazy.

Here's some pics:

Congrats @FryinBerries. Car looks good. I like those simple round exhaust tips. Nice screen name, too. ;p

Thanks it was in way better condition when I got to the dealership than I anticipated. I believe the exhaust is just stock lol and thanks haha it's just my name with the first initials flipped. (Also my Instagram handle if anyone wants to throw me a follow)

Looks great, headlight mod? Those headlights came with 2013 base?

They may be aftermarket. I know there is an aftermarket hid conversion on it. (Already had to replace a ballast. ) still learning about the car, I just got it on Saturday.

Those look like Monogram headlights. You sure it's a '13?

Maybe it's one of the first 86? Is there a rectangular plaque to the right of your e-brake with an 86 logo on it?

Previous owner may have just swapped the headlights. Registration and dealership ad said 2013. Definitely not monogram.. I have the head unit that looks like a calculator lol. @Overdrive

Hi everyone! New owner of a '13 BRZ, but have been lurking on this forum for a few months learning about the car and putting together a mod list.

I'm going to try and make the expo in DC this year and see what the community is all about. Only have 1 decent pic of the car right now.

Welcome. You've got a nice blank canvas there, but do spend some time just driving it and enjoying how it is stock.

New here, picked up a 2017 blue 86. Drove the apex track prepped gt86 on the nurburgring I liked it so much I had to get one when I got home. Been 10 years since I had a fun car, had a 2005 evo 8 first brand new car I ever bought was into the horsepower thing for a while then got sick of it. 86 is such a amazing handling car especially for the price.

Hi All! New here. I don't have a 86/Fr-S/BRZ of my own yet. I'm in the LA area, and would be interested in possibly doing a lease takeover to try these cars out. If anyone has advice or recommendations, I'd welcome it! Not really sure where to start as I have always purchased my vehicles in the past.

Hey everyone. Just picked up a 2017 BRZ Premium with 6/spd, crystal white. I drive a ton for work and coming from a Mazda 3i, scooby feels like a proper race car. A few things I love:

-Obviously it handles like a dream.
-Looks 2x what it costs
-I am 5'6" and 150 lbs and everything is the perfect size. Seats feel amazing.
-Love that this car has a back seat (even though tiny) so I can take the kids to school or run them around.

A few things I don't love:
-Love the size of the steering wheel, but whatever material it is wrapped in is downright awful. Makes my hands super sweaty. Any suggestions. I feel like a bowler with my hand constantly in the air vent to dry it off.
-The trunk lid needs to be slammed for it to latch. Just in 2017?
-The sound tube (plugged, first thing i did after bringing it home) Will full delete soon.

Congrats @MrProa

Funny that you mentioned the steering wheel. I bought my 2013 FR-S used, and the steering wheel feels sweaty/sticky. Yuck! I tried cleaning w/ water, but that didn't do the trick. Need something stronger. As for the trunk, I do have to somewhat slam it closed, so it's not just you.
