Around my early forties I finally gave up trying to be thoughtful. It just gave me excuses to feel guilty.

Moms are a different category, though.

Is this because you will feel guilty?

i make it very clear to all the women in my life that they are the keepers of my age and important dates, and i make no attempts to correct them when they tell me how old i am.

i also didn't realize my birthday was friday until they told me. i think they told me i'm 34 now. or was it 33.

My brother and I have a pact to make a point of not wishing each other happy birthday. Now it's fun going out of our ways to celebrate anything else on those days.

It's only a few people so it is not too bad to remember. Usually it is just another excuse to get together. Our HR manager keeps track of all birthdays at work, for a while it was our tradition among about 6 of us to take each other to see an "adult ballet" and get drinks. No matter what day of the week. Now everyone is too old and has too many kids

My best friends and I have turned it into who can get who the most F'd up gift (withing reason). This year I am having a foul mouthed weight lifter and motivational speaker do a birthday message for him from that website Cameo. Should be a good

Easy for me, my brother and I haven't been on speaking terms in years

Unfortunate timing for sure. Well the roads are still up here, and if you ever find yourself back up this way and want to drive a Harrop SC'd BRZ, lemme know.
Lol thanks. The problem is, I'm afraid I would like it too much...

Hey, does anyone here have a tow hook license plate mount? Instructions say to use antiseize or grease on the tow hook threads. What would you use, and/or would you think silicone brake grease work?

I can't see why brake won't work, should stay in place considering its exposed location.

I don’t use anything on it mine. A touch of lube is never a bad idea though.

I have one, not installed yet. I'm going to use anti-seize since that's what I've been using on just about everything since the stone age including brakes.

I don't see why that brake grease wouldn't work, I imagine it has properties similar to anti-seize.

I used some aluminum colored antiseize on my tow-plate because I had some already.
If you look around the checkout counters at most auto parts stores, they usually have some small mustard or ketchup size packets of all sorts of stuff so you don't have to buy a lifetime supply.

Don't think I feel comfortable using a product that advertises being super slippery though.
Mine hasn't fell off yet.
