If your camera has a metering setting try adjusting it to "spot metering" instead of center or average, when it's sunny. You'll see better the outside( but the car interior will be darker)

Thanks I’ll look into it. I just have the cheapest go pro session. Nothing fancy.

Event #2 equipe rapide south Florida. Same place.

9th overall had a few faster runs but slapped some cones. 1st in stx by a few seconds.

Excited to go to a real site for pro solo next weekend. Cheers to anyone else goin.

Nice videos! I'm going to my first event this Sunday at BB&T, hoping to learn a lot and not embarrass myself too much. They'll have loaner helmets, right?

The difference in available grip and noise between a top tier tire and Falkens is insane. I'm making up numbers here, but I'm guessing a 1.5s difference. Here's my run from the same event with the tires giving up and screaming for help.

But it's totally OK because we're all on the same garbage! Right....? Guys...? :P

It's about 2s on a 60s concrete, I think. 1.5 seems right for asphalt.

Think about what you're giving up in time to Hoosiers! If we're not on Hoosiers then we can't POSSIBLY be having any fun!!!!!

Like seriously... if you hate the class so much and you hate the tires so much... leave. It's early in the season. You can still get used to a new car before Nats. Meanwhile down here, we have two people who got a chance to co-drive one this weekend that are now interested in building an SSC car either for this season or next. It's way more fun to drive than my car was in CS trim, even if the times don't show it.
