[QUOTE=idkwhatimdoing;3106171]These units are pretty loud at idle, the Rotrex dev manual says you’ll get a shrill suction noise with an open element filter (such as the K&N one provided by JR). It’s normal. Mine sounds the same, but I didn’t hear whining in the video.

________

That's really reassuring to hear. It does whine, but it's not nearly as bad as some videos I've seen. And with the hood closed it's even less noticeable. I just got nervous. I really appreciate the feedback! Loving this car so much! thanks!

Is that something you guys could help with through only photos?

The kit doesn't come with ECUTEK or any tuning (but does come with a CARB sticker) so if I go through with it I'd have to buy a cable+license+tune from you guys

I was thinking Delicious stage 1 given that it already has a CARB sticker

You could always run to MANN or Elite and have them check it out before you purchase. Keep in mind that if you ask for help from a business that sells the same kit you are trying to buy to offer a tip or schedule future business with them. Jackson Racing will sell you a spare part or 2 off the kit if you contact them directly.

If you're up for an hour drive you could always go see Neal at TRL up in Concord.

I got my kit used as well and the only thing missing was the bracket to the washer tank

Make sure you purchase new fluid for the SC as well

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to pop in and let all of you know that Phase 10 RaceROM is finally here for all model years and all regions of the world (Not just the initial 2013-2014 and 2017-2018 release), from 2013-2018 models on USDM, European, Asian, JDM (Yes it's different), and Gulf spec ECU's. Our entire tune library has been updated to accommodate the new software, and we are now rolling out these tunes to new and existing customers. A lot of our customers running Jackson kits have been asking about this update, so I wanted you all to be among the first to know that our Delicious tunes are all built up and vetted out for the new software.

The latest version is denoted as V25.00. Though RaceROM 10 is really a complete and utter overhaul of the way we do tuning on these cars, some of the more important changes are as follows:

- Improved tip in throttle response throughout entire rev range
- Completely overhauled closed loop correction outside of factory closed loop scenarios
- Completely overhauled Flex Fuel implementation. Ethanol content, ethanol ignition advance, and more are now all dedicated parameters in EcuTek. The way Flex Fuel is programmed is also far superior in RaceROM 10, and allows much tighter integration into the tune. What this means for the end user is a smoother transition between fuel types, and a smoother ramp in power delivery as ethanol content increases or decreases.
- Dedicated custom map to warn you when your AVCS system has failed to activate in a timely manner, letting you know before you push the car and risk potential damage.
- Vastly improved control over fueling in medium to full load areas.
- Improved transition from low load MAF calculation to high load VE calculation.
- Improved drivability.
- Addressed a particular bug where some vehicles would experience a hesitation in high gear, partial (20-40%) throttle pulls. This was typically experienced when trying to pass on the highway, for example.

If you have any questions about this update, feel free to contact me via email at sales@delicioustuning.com.com. This update takes what is already a great supercharger kit, and improves it more than we previously thought possible.

I was curious what it would take to change this system to have a BOV. I have my eye on a Greddy.
Would it be as simple taking anyone. Insuring the ‘spring’ is the correct fit the psi and done?

I used a turbosmart bov with a softer spring and worked good no problems.

I am also curious would I need an adjustment to my tune? Seeing that there would be a difference in Air flow in the equation?

Bypass Valve - P0171

Add me to the list of people who's included bypass valve has failed. I was getting a P0171 System Too Lean Bank 1 code because the bypass valve was sticking open. Jackson is sending me a replacement, but I may buy the Forge FMDV008 unit with green spring, to avoid any further issues.

Time to update the intake tube perhaps?
Happens on throttle blipping.
