Pity, ordered mine literally 1 week ago.
Why selling?

You may be the first person on this thread actually running a warm air intake.

The interesting part is that the butt dyno reports a good bump in power in the 5k+ RPM.

Intake temps ARE higher, but not drastically so. For someone that isn't tracking that car I am very happy with it!

At the end of the day, the butt dyno is all that matters. Unless you're in a competition.

I sold my car. Great kit you will love it. Take your time installing it and routing hoses and you'll be set.

Hey all, hoping to pull the trigger on a 210 intercooled soon. For a street car (I've never tracked), how necessary is the oil cooler or catch can?

I'd go with a catch can -- some of our cars have lots of blowby with the 210, while others don't.

Oil cooler not necessary -- for a street car that isn't seeing a ton of action I'd actually recommend against an oil cooler based upon whether running E85, and depending upon climate/location.

On E85 my non-intercooled 210 leaves me with oil temps between 200 (crusing around town) and 220 (highway at 75mph). This is in Indiana with 70-90f summers.

You need some heat in the oil to burn off water.... You don't want your temps sitting under 200f in my opinion. An oil cooler would certainly put me down this low.

If not running E85 you can expect a bit hotter oil -- maybe 5-10f.

So long story short... You don't need an oil cooler for the street with this kit unless you live in a hot climate and notice very high oil temps (230+)

Here is where I subtly note that the motor begins to sound different when your oil temp is 260....

Once there was a run up the mountain on a hot day with no oil cooler!

Thanks for the input guys. I live in Toronto so the weather only gets 'hot' for maybe a few months a year. I would love to do E85 but up here it is not easily found so it will probably be 91 octane. I have heard anecdotally that the oil cooler in this climate does have the tendency to keep oil too cool. Should I look into a different oil viscosity over the warmer season to counteract not having an oil cooler?
