I'm running a Mishimoto PCV catch can. I change my oil every 4000 miles or so and I can pour maybe 1/8" worth of oil from the can at those intervals. No track days, just spirited on ramp and highway pulls.

I don't have a can for the CCV breather side though as Mishimoto does not make one. However, when I run my finger inside the intake tract and throttle body opening, I don't seem to be getting a film of oil. Maybe heavily tracked cars would show otherwise. YMMV.

No catch can; we watch our oil level carefully and monitor our charge pipes.

I'd recommend temperature over AFR, if you REALLY want a gauge, but you don't need gauges at all with the JRSC.

Got a p172 code today. The idle was all messed up. Read earlier about the MAF sensor being the culprit. Bought some crc cleaner and problem solved, runs like a champ so far.

Always inspect the MAF extension cable as well. I had the same thing, and it kept happening - turns out it was one of the wires coming out of the MAF extension harness. Replaced it, never had an issue since! :-)

I've been getting the same issue with the P0172 - Running too rich code and cannot figure what's causing this? Below is my set up, I've tried cleaning the MAF, the car will run ok for a few days and the problems/CEL will come back. Car will hesitate sometimes going at a constant speed. Coming to a stop or giving it a little throttle from a stop, the car will sometimes want to stall and does every now and then. My gas mileage has dropped to about 20 mpg and the back of my exhaust is covered in black soot. Some days the car will drive better and then a few days later, the problems will come back. I've brought this up to Mike at MotoEast and he's using my current tune on a few cars as a base map with no issues.

2014 - Auto
JRSC - C30 kit with engine oil cooler
Crawford AOS
Omni MAP sensor
ECUTEK - Motoeast

I feel like I have read about this issue more than once on the competitor thread but I do not remember the solution. How does the O-ring look for the MAF? I think swapping it out would be a great place to start. Then checking for leaks.

You have no other mods; have you considered running the CARB tune instead?

I've tried cleaning the MAF several times, also replaced it with an OEM one.
Also inspect the tubing on the MAF and intake side, looks fairly clean.

Not to hijack or stray, would switching to a Speed Density system such as the one utilized by Delicious completely eliminate the problem of the MAF getting dirty or not sealing properly?

Only other engine mod would be a UEL FT86 Speed factory catted header, Motiv ceramic coated Over and catted Front pipe, with an Invidia Q300 Exhaust.

Only other thing I can think is maybe the 2nd O2 sensor is acting up, but it hasn't given me a CEL for the sensor yet.

I was actually thinking about that too, or having Moto-East send me a SD tune.

The better question is, how do you prevent your MAF from getting dirty?

Answer: Catch can/AOS.

Huge shout out to CSG Mike for working very hard with me and putting up with my PayPal nonsense and getting me the JRSC C38 with JROC! It has been an absolute pleasure to work with you and David as well as your ever-patient sales team. Looking forward to doing it again (except without all that PayPal nonsense) as you have earned my business for absolutely everything CSG carries! Btw, my refund from PayPal came through yesterday and my kit will be at my door tomorrow!
