I'll be installing my ebay knockoff STi lip on sunday. No use spending $400 on the official lip when it'll just get scratched.

I'm aiming this route too. I had meant to pick up non-STi skirts and a "STi style" lip a month ago but I keep neglecting to actually SPEND THE MONEY.

I see about 350 for a complete set. Lip, side skirts, diffuser, and the little "wing" on the rear bumper. |

Yeah not too bad at all. Jury is out on whether or not I want to pick up a rear diffuser. Might just go with the tiny side wings.

I took my car to Washington DC this long weekend. Drove 10+ hours. And the weirdest thing happen. I did not spot any 86 at all.
Another thing I notice, people look at my car like it's a Ferrari. Although I did have painters tape just on the hood Lol. I put one Michigan 86 sticker on my rear quarter window to represent. On my way to NJ now then home on Sunday. |

Working with OEMs I can backup dsgerbc's assertions. Vehicle manufacturers spend thousands of hours on quality control and testing of wheels before they are selected.

I think NJ10's point is that you can buy the same wheels (OEM STI, whatever) for cheaper than 1100 at other vendors.
Yeah people selling stuff on craigslist is not just some "vendor". |

FWIW, in Japan, STi offers those wheels in both 17x7 and 18x7.5. |
