Simple task, dark night, shit happened.

I was trying to jump my BRZ from a Camry tonight but connected the jumper cable the wrong way. I left it wrong for about 5 seconds and then corrected it.

Now the car can start but there are all different kinds of warning lights on the dash. I have no power steering, no auto navi screen, no auto headlights (but the manual low/high beam still works fine).

I searched around and people are talking about the MAIN FUSE, I checked all small fuses in the engine bay using multimeter and they are all good. But did not check the main fuse.

Based on the symptom, do you guys have any ideas?

Try disconnecting both terminals from your battery, then reconnect them. Remove negative first, then positive, and attach in reverse order. Be careful with the positive side not to touch another part of the car while touching the terminal.

There's also a small fuse in the positive lead. That might be the "main" fuse?

Actually just took another look, the 140 fuse on the positive terminal was blown...

I am going to order the part hopefully that will fix the issue.

But did replacing the main fuse fix it?
