Brakeparts calipers?

Hi dear!
I've a GT86 and I love her

There's something that looks bad on the car... The calipers.

I want to upgrade them but I want to do that not so much for braking but for beauty (yes... kill me)

But I don't want to spend 1000-2000$.

Searching on the internet I found this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAIR-FRONT-B....c100005.m1851

I contacted the seller but they don't know if this calipers fit on gt86, but the bolt attachment looks the same.

What do you think?

Very sorry for my bad english, I'm Italian

If you are just worried about looks, you could just paint the OEM ones.

Send a message via AIM to Racecomp Engineering
Those look like a remanufactured FHI Subaru 4 pot, available on some earlier WRX and STI models.

just buy those MGP covers... they actually look pretty good and you can keep the stock functionality of your existing brakes (the reason I won't replace mine).

like $150 vs $1500... course it's a little ricey but nobody gonna know

:P

I wouldn't show up to track day with them, but if you're looking for a simple visual tweak it's actually quite genius. can't tell the difference otherwise until you're standing six feet away or so.

my OE calipers are starting to discolor a little, despite garaging the car all winter long. I've thought about upgrading the grabbers but my car's got low miles and stops like new. i don't really track it though, but there's always that once or twice I gotta slam on the stop because of some lunatic running a red light.

Almost all calipers bolt on in a similar looking way, but the spacing could be different, plus it might need an adapter to position the caliper in the right spot on the rotor (distance out from center of hub as well as position laterally on the rotor).

Then you get into the issue of potentially changing the brake balance.

As for the size of our stock ones, these don't look any bigger at all, so if your complaint is about the size you'll be spending a bunch of money for little (or zero) improvement.
