The C8's looks can be pretty polarizing, and the design is more 'transformers' than the simple classic lines like the Porsche 911. I like the look of Porsches, but I find it hard to distinguish between the different models (since I'm not an enthusiast). They're very common as well in my area. I'm sure the C8 will also be as time goes on, but they're harder to miss.
Another thing I've noticed is that the C8 can look very different in photos and videos depending on the lens distortion and focal length used. Phone cameras tend to distort some of the proportions making the butt look even bigger or the nose shorter than it really is in person. After waiting more than a year since I ordered it, I just took delivery of my C8 (Sebring Orange, 2LT, Z51) this week. It's not replacing my BRZ; I'm keeping that as my daily driver. I took some photos yesterday that match closer to what my eye sees.

Saw one yesterday. I was underwhelmed. I like the C7's shape more.

Just saw one yesterday. Are the tailights sequential from the factory?

Yes, the turn signals are sequential.

Red is definitely exotic and menacing, particularly with the black/carbon trim pieces. It definitely pulls off white well. The one black I saw was all black, so it just looked like a black blob moving down the stree. Haven't seen other colors but I suspect I would like the orange. In all, I leave towards favoring the C7 as well, but the c8 would make me feel like I'm driving something I really can't afford, while the C7 seems to already be aging a bit.

It is not as crazy looking in pictures, as it is in person, but the C7 has a longer hood with a pinch point between the engine and cabin and a loot like it is ready to pounce. Aesthetically, I tend to like FR GT cars with the gold ratio like the Aston Martin. Just look at this Ferrari Superfast or even the smooth Roma. The Superfast really has that same pinched area between the engine and cabin like the C7 and Viper.

Don't they usually put the bull horns on the front of the car down in Texas?
EDIT: My comment does not appear to make much sense now that the photo of the rear spoiler on the C8 has disappeared from the preceding post. It was funny when read in that context, I promise!

I enjoyed that one! No incessant babblings or horrible eurobeat music. Just straight up action.
