the perrin rear mount is nice for daily, basically no change in noise. the whiteline bushing definitely makes your car whiney and sound like a 30 year old truck with a worn out transmission/rear end.

just a note-- those aluminum valve caps can and do seize onto the valve stems.
i had a pair a while back that did that. took me something like 2 hours to grind them off with a dremel. just beware, the price of admission is quite steep with those..

Pulled out the front bumper today to install a DRL enabler kit (Japanese models do not have DRL as part of regulations, hardware is all there sans wiring). The push pins underneath the bumper were terrible things, especially without a jack. Some just went brittle and snapped right after it was removed, have new ones coming in.

Are you talking about the rear diff or Trans mount?

Mounted a new set of tires. These are Federal SS 595 in 235/40/17. The SS apparently stands for Super Steel, but they should be “Super Steal” since these were only $55/tire.
I’m not too concerned about grip since these are just my daily/canyon tire, but road manners are great so far. Not sure why people complain about noise. Probably helps that my track tires are Hankook RS3’s so these are actually slightly quieter in comparison on the highway. As people have noted, these run a bit wide for their size. I’ll update with some more impressions after taking them to the canyons this weekend. As mentioned I’m not expecting huge levels of grip (actually less grip would be more fun to me), but hoping for good tread life and decent consistency across a wide temperature band.

If using them for drift tires, then hell yeah they're cheap. |

Haha I don't actually log gas mileage but it's bad for sure. I'm on E85 and do a lot of "spirited" canyon driving, plus some track days. Probably for the best I don't know lol.

Honestly though, the power difference alone is worth it. This engine loves E85.
