Looks interesting. The exterior seems like decent evolutionary design, I typically like to wait until I see one in person for final judgement. The 2017+ grew on me a lot over time and looked a lot better in person than initial pictures (at least to me at the time). Don’t like the molded front license plate mount though. Excited to hear specs and trims hopefully here soon.

As silly as it sounds that could be a walk away for me right there.

I’m not one to trash new cars because I have the previous version, but truly no comparison for me in looks anyway. I’ll be hanging on to my 2017 PP WRB from now on. Figured I would but glad to see actually that I’m not at all tempted haha.

From the headlights down there is not one single thing that looks like the shopped pic. Nothing.

Just a massive disappointment. Could have really made thing look good inside and out. Everything looks budget - from design to materials in the cabin. Less of an evolution and more of a slight touch up.
Hopefully the engine at least give this thing some sort of grunt. |

Minor point of order on the title.
It is a 2022 BRZ. There is no 2021 model.

I will reserve full judgement for when I see a real one or the Toyota version but at this point...

I’m trying, but there is literally NOTHING I like better about this car. No angle, not the interior, and that dash, yikes. It’ll no doubt perform better in a number of aspects, but my car is already so much fun completely stock that higher performance is nowhere on my list. If I want faster I’ll just drive the S2000. Swing and a miss IMO on this one.
