Tuner ecutek tune back to stock?

What is the procedure to reflash a stock ROM using ecutek back onto my car if it has a ecutek tune previously installed from a tuner? Also what is the latest stock ROM code that I should use? I have the ecutek personal cable and software but it seems none of the ROMs listed are compatible with my car? The software shows these listed.
Za1ja00e
Za1ja00f
Za1ja01a
Za1ja01b
Za1ja01c
Za1a01d
Za1a01g
Za1a01h
Za1a01i
Za1a01j
Za1a01k

It seems I am missing the current stock ROMs. My friend sent me ZA1JB01C and its worked fine. I don't know why my software didn't come with the right ROMs?

JB01C is the current newest revision of the OEM ROM, so maybe your software was downloaded before it was released?

The last digit is a region revision, so all North American cars should have a "C" ROM, the number/letter after the J is the actual version of the ROM. My car came with a J700C ROM (delivered July 2012), but depending on what TSB's have been performed on the car the ECU might have a newer version already flashed on it. Any of the versions should run fine on your car, but you need to run a "C" region ROM to match the ECU.

so I should have used Za1ja01c? I emailed ECUTEK and they just added the newer ZA1JB01C the the standard user version today. I thought I tried them all but it is possible I missed that one.

ZA1JB01C is the newer version, but Za1ja01c *should* have worked fine for you.

EcuTek lists ZA1JA02K for AT as latest stock ROM for your region.

when Ecutek writes a rom it includes your licience inforrmation_ This ecutek licience info is written to an unused area in the rom and does not effect how the car performs. So the car will perform as stock, but if you were to pull the rom and compare it with a hex editor you could tell it was an ecutek rom.

If you were to write a completly stock rom to your car with another system you wil loose your ecutek licience, this happens if a dealer updates your rom, aways keep the paperwork for this reflash so your tuner or ecutek can renew your licience.

Good point, actually I see the ZA1JA02K listed as EU (Europe). Not sure if that changed after a recent update.

You should go by what the proECU software lists as compatible ROMs. If ZA1JA02K does not show as compatible, then I do not recommend using that ROM. ZA1JA01K is listed as Gulf region compatible.

If Za1ja02k is for a late 2014 (MY 2015) car then it may not be compatable, tried loading a za1jd00g into my car that came with za1ja01g and ran into problems with communication with dash cluster and with the ecu monitoring/controlling the alternator, yes even the alternator is controlled by ecu suspect they have changed something in dash and alternator in latest model.

your best to stick with known compatable roms
