The SMG? No it was because they were made out of stamped tin, had about a 6 inch barely rifled barrel and were often made up of a bunch of parts of several different ones that barely fit each other. Didn't help that most of them were over 20 years old and pretty much worn out. They did have a semi auto mode but targeted shots was not their purpose. Even had a bayonet bracket because we were never sure when that 14 inches of extended reach would come in handy when we had to charge the trenches.

I'm guessing the lack of a stock was a big problem. Lack of a good forward grip too. Appears pretty simple so lonely no selective fire but honestly I'm not familiar with this gun

I thought it had a folding stock but it looked barely serviceable. Yeah, I wondered about how I would hold the heat shield.

There is a fold out stock. They were for close combat and defensive purposes only so range and stability were not important. They were actually beautiful in their simplicity.

You didn't hold the heat shield long! The rule was "Never ever, for any reason, ever, hold it by the mag. Until it is to hot then hold it by the mag"

I bet I put 100,000 rounds through those things.

Oh and watching the video reminded me that we would tape our cuffs up before a day on the range or all those damn hot casings would go straight up your sleeve!

So I was talking about random stuff with my older uncles and other family members at the party today.

I told them within a very short amount of time, I've been drinking more costly yet tasty beer than cheap shit to simply get flat out drunk.

They said yeah.. as you get older, being drunk isn't fun anymore except for a couple of occasions per year. I think my brain is subconciously telling me "yo, no more shotgunning 8 cans of (insert shitty beer here). I need to live for 50 more years!"

I'm with Tcoat. Elegant. Just right for the application. Simple, reliable, hammer shit with it so, multi-purpose.

Sure is. Probably shouldn't be much below 20% actually. Your body does need fat. It's just best to get that far from nuts and avacados. But yeah, good diet is such a pain
