Still something tells me it's bad...but I'd like to see some evidence obviously.
It is not about if it is balanced or not. It is more about the noise, vibration and harshness.

For those worrying, there is a company with name Mythelogy. They are building lightweight alluminum pulleys, but they include a rubber like the OEM pulley. They don't have a pulley for our cars, but maybe they have some other that is compatible with Subaru cars.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Unichip. Just don't.

If it's a safety item (esp. suspension related) then don't cheap out, get the expensive good stuff. Cheap out on the aero and aesthetic stuff.

See, although I have read here more than once that the red stitching is gauche and in the height of bad taste, I like it! I have even purchased add-on stuff from the late lamented JDM guys with more Red Stitching! I think it probably looks different based on your car's finish, but mine is stainless steel metallic, with the usual black trim outside and inside, and the bits of red kind of spark it up.

No accounting for taste!

I like it as well! And my car is orange.
It is 2000% better than the colour of the stitching and material of the 17s seat to me. The grey panel looks horrid and cheap sedan like.
Like you said taste plays a big part in it.

i hate the red stitching. It is the only reason I bought a series.blue. I hate the add on body kit, I scrape it on everything no matter how ghetto sideways I get, it makes the car feel like it is lowered 3".
