Does anyone have an interest in carbon fiber extensions? My KMO fenders + extensions will be arriving in a couple of weeks and I'll be having some extensions remade out of carbon fiber.

After waiting a month to receive my set, they arrived and I installed them asap. I'll be pulling them off for paint, but I just wanted to confirm fit

Thankfully I held off in ordering my new wheels (custom offset) because these are not shaped in a way that you can just add 30mm to your wheels. It seems like the fender tapers inwards slightly where it meets the marker light reducing the amount of offset you can run. It's minimal, but i'm running relatively giant tires on an air ride setup, so every mm counts!

Impressions:
-Fit is perfect
-Quality is second to none. You can tell a higher end product when they do stuff like stamp their logo in places you will never see
-Instructions are hilarious (do not eat or lick the product)
-Cutting the frame end cap isn't as bad as it sounds. it's essentially a lip you're cutting off

Sorry this is all I have on my phone. I'll try and get a better pic later. The fenders pull the edges of the bumper out to mount flush. When you look at the car straight on, the bumper now tapers down

anyone have these installed with sideskirts? if you have these with sideskirts? are there fitment issues? I currently have the vertex kit and am wondering how these fenders will work with sideskirts.

I literally just got everything 2 days ago lol. I'm going to give the side support rods to the local carbon guy to see what he can do.

They fit just fine with side skirts. The fender extensions basically replace the rocker area that bends into the fender.

The only thing that didn't line up 100% was one of the front 3 bolts under the headlight. I had to widen the hole a tiny bit, but other than that the fit was bang on.

It seems like KMO is a company that does care about final quality. They even go so far as to stamp their logo/name onto the inside of the fenders in a spot you will never see once they're on.

Yes, KMO's fenders are very good. Quality and fitment is on the higher end of the scale when it comes to FRP automotive products for these cars. They're actually produced by TRA (rocket bunny) except these are made in much lower volumes, at much higher prices. So the moldings used for these fenders are always spot on.

I have many friends who have bought these across the world and every single one of them have said that fitment has been direct bolt on with no issues whatsoever.
@ft86me in response to your question, you will want the extension piece to fit the vertex side skirts on. If they were just a bottom mounted skirt that didn't wrap around the fender, you'd be fine without. But unless you want to do some fiberglass work to the skirts, I'd recommend getting the extension.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like extensions are what I'll need. Just need to figure fitment w my current wheels in regards to if it'll look disgusting or not.

Mind if I ask wheel specs? I currently have 18x10 +44 on 245 40 18 and it's a little tight up front. Was hoping to squeeze a 255 or 265 w the fenders. Any input would be awesome.
