Good point. "As is" is a pretty important couple little words to have on there.

There's this thing called "due diligence". As long as you didn't lie about the car and made the car available to them to look at, then it's on them to determine the condition of what they are buying.

Ditto, but also if they made it worth my time in some way. Free removal and return of aftermarket parts might be one, but that's a judgement call on "worth".

The radiology place just called. Apparently the original doctor looked at the results and he requested I go back in for additional imaging "in one specific area."

Great...

So this is the caveat I'm looking at. If they will take the parts off and let me keep them, only for me to give them the oem piece, I have zero qualms flashing the car over. Cuz I can turn around and make a profit.

So this is what the acknowledgement states:

"Said vehicle does not have any damage or repair to the chassis or unibody and the motor block and cylinder heads are not cracked, welded, or repaired. The present engine is the original installed by the vehicle's manufacture. The vehicle was never in a flood and has no salvage or junk history. Said vehicle has not been in an accident that resulted in damages over $3000 and the emissions control equipment has never been altered or removed. The airbags have never been deployed. I understand that I may be responsible for any damages you may incur in the event I have misrepresented the condition of my trade-in vehicle to you."

OK so they may have you on the exhaust if it isn't catted.

But then there is the flex fuel kit and tune. So the question would be, leave it alone and not mention anything and let the next owner deal with it. Or be a kind human and flash it back to stock.

That's no bueno.

I prefer not to know what is wrong with me. I am still waiting on robot parts to be a thing.
