25F over ambient is totally reasonable, considering how much denser the air is post-supercharger.
The Harrop kit reads similarly, with temps dropping at speed due to the heat exchanger getting more airflow. If you guys datalog, you'll notice that IATs go *down* when you're part throttle vs idling, again, just because of airflow through the manifold. A great example of this is your hood. Go for a drive on the highway, and then immediately get out and touch the top of your stock hood. Now, the next time you sit in stop and go traffic, when you park, touch the top of your hood. Note how much hotter it is when the hood has minimal airflow over it versus constant airflow. |

So where is the IAT measured for the ECU? I thought it was read at the MAF, before the supercharger.

You might gain a marginal amount of power and a marginal drop in temps, but both will be in diminishing returns territory. |

This is why you have a harness that the stock MAP plugs into, which then plug into the factory MAP plug. The Temperature reading is sent from the TMAP included with the kit, to the MAP's temperature wire. The MAP's actual temperature is ignored, because we only care what the temp of the air going into the engine is, not what the temp of the air is before being charged. This allows for zero cutting, zero splicing, and allows for the ECU to accurately read what your actual intake charge temperature is. |

Great, thanks for the clarification! Have you guys experimented with air ducting and spacing the liquid to air intercooler off of the radiator? I was thinking about going this route, but if someone has tried it and gotten negligible results, I'd rather not attempt.

No need for extreme measures, unless you're running a 2.875" pulley or smaller, based on the limited data I have. Even then, it's only really needed for sustained use. Water cooling is really, really efficient, similar to computer cooling.

Is it normal for a car to feel more preppy and smooth with the stock header over a uel?

Quick question for owners running the D-Box.
Is the green light supposed to be solid or does it rapidly blink? I recently got around to installing the D-Box I ordered a while back and having driveability issues right after. Car surges, hesitates after each gear change and part throttle acceleration is quite terrible. Not smooth, feels like there are rough spots all over the powerband. NO CEL, installation was checked and double checked, everything plugged in correctly. Connections are pretty idiot proof. I'm running the Delicious tune and fine tuned by Zach from Delicious. As soon as I took off the D-Box the car went back to normal. |

Dbox and Delicious tuned here -car runs nice and smooth.
Unfortunately I think my bypass went bad... Going to check it tomorrow, huge thanks to @BirdTRD for the guide. I feel like we should link that guide on the first page of this thread... It's post 2368, CSG Mike? |
