I can spend some time on the lathe tomorrow and see what i can come up with. Not sure if its the right grade of stainless but i recall using some a few months ago. I can update if I end up with the right stuff.
I made these around then. The part on the left is a stainless exhaust slip-in flange and the part on the right is a titanium threaded adapter. Sent from my Glade Air Freshener

holy crap, i googled "lathe" (because I'm not familiar with the term) and when you click on "images", there's a section called "accident" on the top left. is that pretty much gore? didn't click on the link because I just ate
@swarb grainger gave me the most hope this morning but the minimum thickness is 1/2" which would not allow the reverse lockout to engage. @yelsew sounds good! I'm looking at using Stainless Steel 303 or 304. If you can work with it, PM me some details @mav1178 yeah, I'm not in the machining field but when I look at the time involved, it makes sense to go by the hour. I was looking at the size and what I believe would be a simple creation. |

Checked my stock today. Unless you want a machined titanium spacer for a quite pretty penny, I like swarb's idea.

Thanks for checking @yelsew
I think I'm going to pass on this. I found some stamped washers from Lowes that are larger and stacked them up and engaged the RLO against it and it's not quite the same sensation. I think it only works when it makes contact against a whole solid piece (such as the Slammer) rather than just a dinky thin piece of metal. Next attempt now is to ask Raceseng to see if they can custom make me a slimmer Slammer |
