Tomei has answered our prayers

At the Tokyo Auto Salon, Tomei has just listened to our prayers and they have just announced a dual exist titanium system for our 86/brz. I am definitely trading in my 60s for that bad boy. Don't know any info yet but for a photo released, looks like a 3" set up to me. Can't post a photo but if you search import monster 86 and brz stuff on Facebook you can find the photos there. Sooooo pumped!!!!

That looks pretty close to perfect. I went with a JASMA certified single exit stainless steel Blitz Nür Spec R cat-back exhaust because it was well-made, sounded great, was lightweight, and kept noise levels manageable with my ACE 4-2-1 Type-A 350 header and Motiv catted front pipe. I initially looked long and hard at the Tomei types 60R and 80 cat-back exhausts because I liked the incredible weight reduction, but I couldn’t live with the output (or the megaphone-style exit on the type 60R). The muffler design used on this new exhaust is much more to my liking and output should be manageable, although I personally don’t always like the sound produced by titanium exhausts. I’m looking forward to seeing how it prices out and hearing the sound it makes when paired to the upstream pieces I currently have installed. Overall, Tomei has listened to the market and it looks like they’ve put together a really nice piece.

I am definitely going to be purchasing this... provided it will clear my Verus Engineering diffuser. The mufflers seem to sit closer to where the original muffler is so I may be good. If only there is a way to confirm this. Had to do some slight trimming with my 60s but that is due to the muffler sitting lower and more central.

Aside from there being no actual advantage to having a duel exhaust on the frs. It is tomei and tomei is rad.
