Hahaha Man, you weren't kidding! I've never been so underwhelmed with changes. Same taillights, CARB sticker and a new t-shirt. Sorry, I just had to bust your balls a little. haha I'm glad nothing major has happened, though. Sometimes life can get TOO exciting, so it's good to just appreciate when everything is chill. Good work on maintaining.

Need to pick your brain on wheels.

Don't they look too "sunked in"?

I want them for LW savings. But fear they will look too sunk in, especially in the rear.

Any issues at all with rubbing and why did you go with 9.5 instead of 9. Would the 9 look even more sunked in?

Thanks

I left out the most important question, what wheel specs did you come from and did you notice any performance improvement from switching to lighter wheels.

Hey bud, sorry been somewhat busy these last few weeks. The front looks flush, rear can look sunk in compared to more aggressive offsets but it is actually flush with the lip protruding under the fender (top section of front fender is rolled from factory). Since my camber is -2.5 front, -2 rear, I can make everything look flush by reducing negative camber (rear would need LCA). But then I'd want to roll the rear fender which I don't want to do. Even if it does sit flush, it still won't look "cool" because the spokes are flat faced, not concave. Concave really adds to the aggressive fitment look and you won't find it here because straight spokes are optimal for strength and weight and I can appreciate that (Prodrive GC-07 series used to be on the concave trend but recently switched back to flat face for same reason).

I think I sometimes hear faint rubbing toward the insides of the wheels at full lock but see no signs of rubbing and it doesn't feel like anything is causing great enough friction to worry over. I also have one of the narrowest 255 series tires in existence. If I got wider rubber like Advan AD08R or Ventus RS-3, my fitment would look pretty flush and meaty. But I am more for street looks with a little performance improvement. If you care more for performance I'd consider 18x9 with meaty 255 series (265 should even fit with no issues with the extra clearance gained) tires to make it fit how you like. Just don't slam it too low or put too much negative camber else it will look sunken in.

I came from 18x8.75 +35 20.x lb wheels and 235/40 tires. After I upgraded wheels, I did notice improvement with wider 255 rubber now and it also accelerated with a bit less resistance but nothing drastic. You should notice it more with 18x8 or 18x9 TWS T66-F but you might not like the fitment.

Maybe the Gialla front bumper:

None compare to the original Concept:

Sorry for vomiting all this beauty all over your thread.
anyone know the wheels size and offset (front and rear) on the Leg Sport ?

Look like Weddsport SA15r 18x8.5/9.5. no idea on offsets but I think they only offer one or two options with 5x100

Been on hiatus since I started grad school late 2014. Over the holidays I got my first real break (> 1 week) from the madness and capitalized on it.

The horizontal tri-bar tail lights on this Scion Tuner Challenge winner looked like a match for the louvers so I got them:

which all go along with this JDM tri-bar fender garnish by Toyota:

Also thought the louvers go better with a TRD lip spoiler which also covers my trunk holes as I looked into a wing to complement because I'm a 14R60 / TRD Griffon / BRZ STI Concept wannabe. Originally wanted the SARD Fuji Mini wing which led to my decision on the SARD LSR wing. It has downward curving ends shaped like my louvers. Ended up getting an exact CF replica because 1) SARD didn't want to sell me their products (was considering 3 of their wings) after 4+ weeks of waiting for email responses to only get half my questions answered and 2) I needed custom brackets which the replica was confirmed to accommodate to offset it rearward and line up with my TRD lip spoiler.

Got a Beat-Sonic Blaid antenna to appreciate being a Zenki model without shark fin and coz I'm a fan of the Zeonic Toyota Auris and Smash Bros:

Lastly, got supercharged with supporting mods to feel more race car. List of new stuff:

OEM Toyota Type A Fender Garnish
Beat-Sonic Blaid Antenna
Helix Depo K Shade Tail Lights (Smoked Chrome)
TRD Trunk Spoiler
Satin black painted CF SARD LSR wing replica
STI Rear Drive Axles
STI Short Shifter
Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger
TRD Clutch / Pressure Plate / Lightweight Flywheel
2014 Forester 2.0XT OEM oil cooler

Hey @switchlanez, do you have access to the name now after the merge? I'm not sure exactly how VBulletin manages the ability to change the thread name, but the mods will always have access to it, so just drop us a line if you can't change it and we can change it up for you.

I still don't have access. I can still modify my thread titles that are several months old but not my threads from several years ago. Alright. Thanks for trying, though!

No major update. Just traded my JDM Tom's for DOT-approved USDM ones from another member and got a CARB sticker for my intake because the cops in my area have been cracking down. Also managed to get the elusive Fujiwara 86 shirt (previously sold out at Comic Con) when I randomly parked next to the seller's booth at 86Fest.
Lookin good bro!
