Canon 10-22mm. Wider range but lower F. :/ or the 17-40L.
Def going to get the 24-70m this summer though, but I heard they're making a second version. O_O I heard both really good reviews between the 10-22 and the Tokina 11-16 but I'm so distraught! I don't know what to get! lol

buy a DSLR w/ HD video capabilities. it'll work better as a video camera than most video cameras in the same price range.

I'm Running a Nikon D7000 with a nikkor 35mm f/1.8 also have an 18-105mm nikkor (came with the camera) I'll post some pics I've taken with it so far, nothing great but its my first camera since I had an old polaroid film point and shoot back in 1995.

Love them both got the 35mm from B&H Photo for $200 which is a bargain as locally in aus they sell for about $500, but as I said I have no idea what im doing really I just fiddle with all the settings until the shot comes out as acceptable, I havent tried any PP yet. For a zoom lens id imagine that the 18-200mm would be better. Was looking to get a 50mm 1.4 but have had to save $$ after the accident to buy a new car.
