@JRitt

Have a question for you. I saw the rally kit in yesterday's email ad and it got me thinking. Would it be possible to add the Disk Hat with the +10mm spacer built in as an option to the BRZ Sprint Kit? It looks to be already dual drilled, uses the same caliper, and the built in 10mm spacer would be great for the guys running 17x9 +45 for the rear wheel clearance. The fixed hat would be fine for us AutoX'ers, as we don't put a lot of temp in the brakes anyways.

Thanks for all you do for our community!

Hi Brock,
Thanks for the suggestion and for your support. I will absolutely look into this and post my findings.

Update:

We have put together a document that explains our fitments for all Gen.1 and Gen.2 cars. It should answer most questions you might have, and you can read it here:

Toyobaru 86 Brake Kits: Gen.1 vs. Gen.2

We also put together an article that examines the choice between our 299mm and 325mm kits:

86 299mm vs. 325mm AP Racing by Essex Brake Kit Comparison

Thanks gents!

Here's '22 fitments on Enkei RPF1 17x9+45's. Sprints look like they'll need 20mm of spacer (two 10mm stacked in this photo):

Endurance look like they'll clear with 15mm no problem, maybe as little as 12-13mm. Pictured here is a single 10mm spacer, making slightly contact but I wouldn't trust a cardboard trim for complete accuracy:

Does anyone knows if either of the kits fits rpf1 17x9+35?

Those wheels are known to be really bad at BBK clearance. You might find it easier to just replace the wheels than to try to make them work with a BBK.

I agree with this advice. I was in your shoes last year and it was simpler and less headache to switch from RPF1's + spacers experiments to a new wheel setup. I was able to sell my RPF1's to help fund new wheels.
