I was able to secure a 2.49% 72-month loan from a local credit union. My plan was to go into the dealer and see if they'd beat it lol. I might be dreaming but its worth a shot.

To any active duty, vets, or children of the such you can get an even better rate from USAA. They are offering 2.09% APR on 72-months: https://www.usaa.com/cars/loan-calculator/

Went into a dealership today to put a deposit on the only WRB Limited 6mt car that was not sold in the area, arrival mid-November (thx tb for finding it for me). They wanted $50k otd for it

$33k MSRP, $13k of dealer add-ons that included a $10k market adjustment, and fees, taxes, etc. I offered $35k otd, best they would do was $5k off the markup. Wild times in the car market haha...guess that's what I get for being late to the party.

Congrats to those that are taking delivery soon!

My buddy just got his Vin. He's 700100. Dealer told him November 5th ETA.

@Jucostud, I looked your car up on a VIN decoder site. They have it and it is -1 year old. I guess that's about 36 weeks out of 40 weeks old.

I would remove my VIN from the forum if I were you. Maybe I am being too cautious.

If it’s helpful to anyone, I got my VIN yesterday and my current estimate for delivery got a date set, it should be the 17th of November - for reference I’m on the other side of the Rockies from where it’s at now in the PNW.

Dealer said it shows that it’s processing and might not ship for a week or so hence the later date - who knows, but it’s exciting!

No vin number just yet for me. SoA says I'm still slated for November, and my dealership says no vin just yet. I ordered Aug 23rd. The wait is real now.

Who did you order from if you don't mind sharing? I ordered from Sewell about a week after you and got a December delivery estimate. My rep emailed me this week to tell me it was still on track for December.

I ordered at the same time as well- aug 24 and my delivery date is december too.
It depends on your dealers allocation and not the date you ordered. For example if I had ordered from a dealer further away I could have gotten it earlier.

October order and December estimate (per dealer). I guess no one wanted to pre order on Maryland’s eastern shore. I didn’t ask about their allotments. Gateway Subaru near Delmar Maryland. (Close to Delaware border)
