Is there any way to at least add the factory push button start system?
They have offered a special edition FRS with push start/dual climate control for 4 years in a row. What made you think they wouldn't do it again?

Swapping over the OEM push start is relatively expensive and requires a fair amount of work. There are DIYs on here though.

Yup. Either the orange or white. From Toyota's press release:

Quote:
On the outside, the 860 Special Edition will command attention with its exclusive Supernova Orange paint that is contrasted by its black body stripes, rear spoiler, heated outside mirrors and 17-inch alloy wheels. Topping it off, the special edition gets LED fog lights and a unique aerodynamic underbody panel for added style and function. The special edition will also be available in Halo White, and only 860 units of each color will be made.

I'm pretty sure this was announced or something when I got my car, it's just that I thought it looked exceptionally ugly with the stripes when I saw it and for some reason, I thought it didn't have the push button etc. The extra features are amazing, it's just too bad the exterior manages to look even goofier than the base. I did see the guide for the OEM push button start but don't trust myself to mess with the electronics that much right now...maybe a few years down the line when I'm out of warranty and more comfortable with the car

Assuming they are vinyl, easy as a drill and one of these:

Of course if they just peel off even better.......I imagine with a new car they won't be baked on.

Nice. In that case, it's everything I want short of the PP. But then again, I'm not entirely sure if I'd need it.

Is it just me or are those "17 inch alloy wheels" that are "commanding attention" the same 2017 wheels non-PP?
