best driving road in south africa

just came back from a 250Km drive of pure joy in the Cape winelands
I reckon Franschhoek pass must be the most enjoyable road i've ever driven.

Yep Longtom is a hoot, got some other great drives in MP. The road from Sabie to Hazyview is fantastic and tons more.

But I think the best is Clivia Pass, a controlled access road from Ngodwana to Lydenburg. WOW.

Yebo, and Robber's pass if you're feeling a bit braver than usual. Haven't tried Clivia yet.

What about this tiny piece of road known as "the Munro Drive" bordering Yeoville in Houghton, JHB... With a beautiful hairpin bend. Very hairy as it is rather busy and it was the first corner where I was able to provoke my 86 to slide... (on the first day of ownership nonetheless...) Go up the hill! Awesome view aswell!

my daily commute takes me over Kloofnek into the ***. Nice and curvy but you have to share it with other road users:
