I have BFG Sport Comp-2 on my car. I will say, although they have great grip when I do some back roads driving, for daily, they are just kinda noisy. I may end up switching back to DWS-06 or giving the Yokohama Advan Sport A/S+ a try.

I asked about the Advan's a while back. Curious why nobody seems to be running them. |

Problem I have with review videos or charts is that the same tire can be drastically different from one car to another. To have some real comparisons and get a real feel you'd have to find someone reviewing a bunch of tires on the same GT86. I guess this BB is perhaps the closest source of data for that!

Yes, you can only compare tires within the same review. So if you have tires A, B and C in review X, and tires C, D and F in review Y, you can't really compare tires A and F. Good example are MPS4S reviews on Tire Rack - they have a few and have varying results on the MPS4S vs. other Max Perf tires.

I used Advan Sport A/S+ 225/45-17 for close to two years before switching to 245/40-17 with supercharger. They are very good. I might go back to them next time.

I've used Indy 500 (impressive grip, a bit harsh on the ride and noise)
Falken FK510 (also impressive grip but doesn't feel like it has that much grip until you push it, it doesn't give me a strong centered feeling when going straight, a bit better on the ride plushness than indy 500, amazing wet grip) Nexen NFersa SU1 (less grip but much better noise and ride softness, really cool sound when you slow down quickly (like a futurist warp speed sound)) Achilles ATR sport & ATR sport 2 (about same grip as nexens I think, but noisy and harsher ride than the Nexens, abhorent grip in the wet, ATR sport 2 being a bit better)

Ah nice! That's good to know. Now I'll feel a little less weary to try them. Though I have considered the Advan Fleva V701 as well. But not much is know about them.

Fleva is summer tire though. In Texas, you can use them four seasons. Let us know how you like them. Tread pattern looks similar to v12.

Honestly I might just get the Flevas. Only problem is the local Discount Tire doesn't have them in stock.

The DWS06 is a good all-season. Traction in dry and wet is outstanding. Cornering response is quite impressive also.
