Would have preferred a VTR250 over my SV650,
but they don't sell them here in the USA. Sucks.

While we are talking bikes, and lots of Hondas, I'm kinda liking their upcoming NM4, and not even sure why. It's like a space-age cruiser, what George Jetson would ride if he were a member of the Hell's Angels.

It's on my short list right now for a next bike, but still leaning towards a used current model Goldwing.

Yeah, for a 250cc it's not too bad, light weight so easy to throw through twisties.

It's V-Twin engine though small likes to be angry.

There is nothing sporty about them . you may as well get a scooter with an automatic so you don't have to bother shifting

That is an opinion. 35 hp, first of all for a beginner that's more than adiquate. I don't need a liter bike for a first bike. That's asking for trouble. That's like giving a Ferrari to a 16 year old boy and asking him to drive the speed limit. Plus, it's cheaper, a lot of experienced riders who ride liters say the 300 is a good beginner bike. I have no intention for it being my last. Just enough practice and time on it to graduate to a ZX6r.
