I think whoever said that "fast" is relative is correct.

They say our cars get about 140-160 WHP stock. Think for a second. imagine sitting in a carriage being pulled by, not 100, but 150 horses. Really imagine 150 horses, maybe start by trying to imagine being pulled by 10 horses, you are hauling ass. 150? thats an insane amount of horses to be pulled by and your just one 2,776lb carriage, thats nothing for 150 horses to pull around town at speeds that would make any honest man scared.

I wholeheartedly disagree with anyone who thinks this car is slow. Y'all need to go ride a horse, get the idea in your head that is one horsepower. Now x 150... you have lost your hat I garuntee it.

Im just having fun with it, hope y'all are too. Enjoy the ride and stay safe.
Now imagine yourself sitting on the top of a rocket.

I don't understand or agree with your comparison - and I sure as hell am not going to compare my car to sitting on a horse.

The car is slow. Being slow isn't an insult. Besides, if it weren't slow from the factory, those of us who enjoy making it faster wouldn't have as much fun modding, so ...

Most people don't ride horses. Most people drive cars. And 160 horsepower in a car is not a whole lot. Maybe it was 40 years ago. But not today.

average weight of a horse is 660lbs, 200 horses for 200hp would be 132,000 pounds. neverminded the weight of the cart.

Since these cars are so slow, i have to wonder how it was legally possible for car manufacturers to sell those 100hp econobox deathtraps for as long as they have. i mean i think most of them have stopped selling them just in the past couple years...and mitsubishi still sells the Mirage right now which is probably the slowest of the slow econoboxes with only what 75hp?....

From what i've read, its far more dangerous trying to get one of those econoboxes up to speed than it is to wrangle a 1000hp beast.

Yes, slow car bad. Min 500hp to be safe, 707 for minivans.
