2022 OEM shift knob on first gen cars

Are they still the same thread pitch and fit on the older cars? They are available now, just a bit expensive and wanna confirm before getting one.

The thread pitch is the same, but they are wider in the reverse lockout area.

Would that present a clearance issue or just aesthetic issue? Is it noticeable/bad looking?

How much does this one weigh? And are they pre-tapped or you tap the thread the first time you thread them in?

They are already tapped.

IDK the weight off the top of my head, but our Delrin Knob is definitely lighter than OEM.

How is the sizing of your knob, i.e. diameter, compared to the OEM knob on a '22?

I don't want a huge ball on the end of the shifter, but find the OEM one a bit smaller than I've had on other vehicles and would like something a little larger. From the images on the Killer B site it looks like it might be actually smaller than OEM, but it's hard to tell for sure. Most sites talk about weight, but not size.

I'll put some calipers on the OEM on Monday. Our Delrin Knob is 50mm.

In addition to their "Round Knob w/Rev Lockout", there's also their WRC knob & extension for those that want a little extra height (closer to steering wheel).

This is one my favourite knobs (and I've tried around 10 different knobs). My knob of choice for track days.

Thank you both! Still might be worth it for a better feel in the hand even if it's essentially the same size.

Just got some calipers on the Gen2 knob and the measurements are the same. Same leather pattern. The only difference looks like the trim rings. On the 22 they are black, not silver.
