They already did the shims last time this happened. I wonder what can they do this time? More shims?

Did they flash the ECU last time? Mine is a '17 and that was part of the TSB for the '17s. Not sure about the later models.

It's possible that they may not have gotten all of the valve adjusted or maybe were off in their measurements and didn't get it shimmed correctly.

That was a worry I had in having Toyota techs dig into the Subaru engine.

Hopefully they can get it right this time.

Brought the car into a different (better rated) dealership. Looks like they did NOT reflash the ECU last time. This is what was done this time:
Performed ECM software update
New CID - ZA1JN20C
Old CID - ZA1JN10C
