I've only recently just fitted the RPF1s in 17x8 +35 and loving them so far. Still running the stock rubber on them and tbh the stretch isn't too bad. Looks good honestly. Will be going to 225 once the rubber needs replacing but until then enjoying what I have.

Are you guys having to run hub centric rings on RPF1, 17x8"?
If so, which ones to do you use that will hold up for track use?

I've got the plastic ones that the Tire Rack supplied. They have held up fine to track use.

I'm running no rings in mine either, with no issues at all. As long as you're running taper seat lugs (which are the proper lugs for the wheels) and tightening them down correctly you absolutely do not need the rings.

I'm running mine without rings cause I'm too lazy to jack up my car to pull the wheels off. I've had the rings for 2 months now haha.

What size rings are needed for RPF1s? Is it 73mm x 56mm?

I'm running aluminum hubcentric rings on my wheels but I don't have RPF1s... seems to be giving the wheels a better/more-snug fit overall, but I can't say they're really necessary. The tapered lug nuts should be plenty to hold the wheels in place, but it can't hurt to have extra assurance the hub is holding things in place as well. My 2 cents at least.

Well here is the thing plastic does nothing for holding the wheel on just helps center. Far from load bearing and high heat I would assume would melt them. You guys with aluminum rings you dont get any siezing or cracking of the rings? Have you actually tracked them under high brake temps?

You run sprint and rpf1s with no rings and your own lugs no issues with wobble etc?
