Hehe.
I like it because this is what the other drivers will see. They'll eat its dust. |

The LEXUS RC F GT3 is known to be in the range of 1300 kg. The SUBARU BRZ GT300 is in the range of 1150 kg.
Reference here: https://www.subaru-msm.com/global/SU...8/machine.html Overall, the focus is on the lower weight and the low center of gravity. One drawback is that they have to change tires more times and lose time on the pits. The other teams focus more on power and not so much on handling. In their case tire is not that much important and they can finish the race even with a single set. |

Most likely not. More likely they're not as fuel efficient or have smaller fuel cells necessitating fill ups more often. They probably just change the tires because they have an opportunity to get fresh ones more often. Its also rare to see two different cars in the same class be so widely varied in pit stop strategies and fuel efficiency. Most FIA or IMSA regulated classes have fuel efficiency/flow restrictions to keep everything level. |

SuperGT is way different. Just imagine that they are even mixing categories with GT300 and GT500 cars racing together! Regulations in Europe is a way to favor certain big manufacturers and big money. Diversity is the key for new ideas and experimentation

I understand that, IMSA and WEC (which runs in europe btw) runs a mix of up to 3-4 different classes, this varies from LMP1 prototypes which are nearly as fast as F1 cars and GT3 stock based race cars. What I found odd was that within a class (GT300) there would be such varied fueling economies. |
