Kakimoto Regu.06&R Catback Exhaust

Dear forum, is there anyone out there using this Kakimoto exhaust system?
I think the weld is very nice and it is made in Japan passed JQR.
http://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/image_b22344.html

I am planning on keeping my car NA

My concern is that I looked at the Japanese auto parts review, it seems like there is a deep deep drone inside the cabin between 2500-4000 rpm
What are those 2 cans by the exhaust? What purpose do they server?

I like the sound of the kakimoto and fujitsubo authorize R, however I think the exhaust tip of the kakimoto is more detailed and refined.

Thank you to some members that i PMed. I just would like to hear more voices here
Thank you all!

These look like Helmholtz resonator, supposedly there to reduce drone

I don't want to steer you away from the Kakimoto, but have you looked into the M7 T- Titanium Cat Back? They're pretty much the same except that the M7's mid pipe isn't resonated, while the Kakimoto's mid pipe is resonated.
Sound wise, they're pretty much the same- the M7 would be slightly raspier due to the nonresonated nature of the mid pipe.

Don't know specifically about this car, but in the general JDM tuning scene, Kakimoto = rare, well made, and light weight.

I'm also looking into this exhaust, I'd love to hear first-hand experience with it.

Hi,

apologies for the thread revival. Is it possible for you to get a sound clip of this set up?

This is the exhaust I'm going to be getting. I'm in Japan right now so it'll be easy to get.
