Motorcycle thread!

So who here rides? Just something about a gas power machine that puts a smile on all our faces.

My current bike, a Yamaha Raider S. My first cruiser, before that was a 08 Hayabusa.

Sold my last bike (Honda 919) in 2012 to help fund the FR-S. Need to buy a new one soon because my brother-in-law (retired 25 year motorcycle police/trainer) has a tour business that is really doing well and I need to get in on the action of being paid to ride!

Restored the '74 CB550 about 5 years ago and sold it for a nice profit. Kinda wish I kept it. Sold the Bandit a couple of years ago when I was getting ready to take a job transfer across the country. Now that I have the FR-S I'm not sure if I want to add another motorcycle to the garage again.

I'm actually starting to put out feelers to sell my bike. It's a blue 2006 Suzuki SV1000S, 5600 miles. It has Rizoma front and rear turn signals, Motosliders frame and swing arm sliders, and some sort of rear fender delete, but otherwise completely stock. Never been down to my knowledge. I'm the second owner, bought it at 4100 miles. It's a great bike, riding just never thrilled me like I was hoping it would. If anyone's interested, let me know.

I also have associated riding gear: summer/winter jackets, summer/winter gloves, pants, two helmets, and winter boots. And a Cortech tank bag that I never put on.

Man, I had the exact same 74 CB550, same color and everything. My friends father was the original owner. It was last registered in 82, hasn't ran since 84. My friend gave it to me in 2005 when their family moved.

I spent all winter on a full frame up restoration, the motor was seized so it had to be rebuild completely. I foolishly sold the bike for the price of parts I put in, all because I had my eye on a RC51 that I came across. My friend had since passed away and I've been searching to buy the bike back, one of my biggest regrets was selling that bike.

This is the favorite bike I've owned 1983, GL650 Silverwing. Equipped with intercom/AM/FM/Cassette(!)/CB. Photo isn't mine but it looked exactly like this except I had a better/chrome mount for the top bag and I had the optional chrome engine guards that also protected the lower fairings.

For those that don't know, the bag is swappable with the rear seat as OEM but nearly everyone added a mount for it like this.

Only made one year in the 650 size. The previous years had been a 500, but they were underpowered.

I rode this bike in all kinds of weather, for up to 12 hours a day, all over the Southeast. Most comfortable touring/commuting bike I've ever ridden, it was like it was custom made for me.

Like my MK1 MR2 that I owned at the same time, I should have never sold it. I do watch for one locally for sale but they are hard to come by with all the fairings/bags intact as there were so few of them made.

Have owned an 2006 Suzuki GSXR750 and an 2007 Triumph Speed Triple. I am thinking about getting back on a nekkid, and probably gonna target a 2010 Triumph Speed Triple (the last year of the dual round headlights).

Mostly original 75 KZ400. Just under 11k miles with a few visual modifications. I also trimmed the seat down a bit. Paint and stripes are original also.
