The Dutch GP was so boring I fell asleep and was late for work this morning. Still exhausted from trying to watch that shit. Track looked like it would be a blast to drive.

Yeah, we lost our satellite signal just before the warm up lap. I was pissed for about a minute. Started reading the on-line posts and wasn't so angry anymore. What a kick in the head for VB #77 having to back off his fastest lap.

I hope George does not give out his Radio frequency to James.
HAM must be thinking well those World Titles were good while they lasted… Albon may enjoy his Williams seat for a year or 2 while he fine tunes his driving with a lot less pressure. I was expecting more mistakes(accidents) to happen in that race. Yes the TV production made this another boring race by being fixated on the 3 leaders… Perez made up a few spots, Alonso managed to play bumper cars with much of the midfield… We get another sprint race this weekend. |

Since the track was new to everyone, I thought the most interesting part was occupied by the team strategists with their pit stop timing and tire strategy. I really was expecting a Safety Car at any time, especially the first lap. Glad I was wrong. |

It does give me ORP vibes, or visa versa. I did enjoy watching qualifying.

Gasly crashing in the sprint race…..damn that sucks.
Rumor is F1 is going to drop the mgu-h. I think this was floated a couple years ago. Seems to have resurfaced.

I may have a few Mango juices this morning as im out of Papaya flavour ones. Good for Bottas to have won something. Toto had hinted Friday that there would be team orders to let HAM by to give him the sprint points… But Ham made his own problem with the execution of that plan. Will be interesting to see Gasly & Bottas make up places at the back. |

Did we just have our Senna Prost moment for Ham/Max?
If The chicane during the first lap was a racing incident. Which I agree with. This was too. Max's comment makes it sound intentional though. "That's what happens when you don't leave enough room!" But is most likely just frustration. Last edited by x808drifter; 09-12-2021 at 11:46 AM. |

I don’t think it was intentional. Just both drivers on the attack. Hamilton could’ve left more space, Max could’ve used the runoff like Hamilton did on lap 1. Max needs to be cautious though as he’s already likely going to face a grid penalty later in the season for another power unit.

Official Formula 1 thread
Meh, same opinion as Silverstone, roles reversed. Ham could have left more space. Max could have backed out.
Edit: Max got a 3 place grid drop for next race. Seems excessive.
