CV Axle Failure after 8.6K Miles?

I drive a 2019 Toyota 86 TRD SE. I haven't even hit 10k miles but I am already hearing a clunking noise from the back which I assume is the CV joint from the axle because it follows the rhythm of the car speeding up. I do track it at the Nürburgring and have done 6 laps of the north loop and 1 session at the GP track. Is that enough for the axle to break at less thank 9K miles? I'm going to try to have it replaced under warranty but I know that's no guarantee, but maybe German dealerships are different. Anyone else have problems with the axle breaking that early?

I would talk to the guys at Apex as they have a lot of experience with this platform on the ring.

Also which side of the car did the axle fail on? I believe it is the left side where the exhaust comes quite close to the cv boot and has been a known failure point.

I was going to hit them up and talk to them about their 86. I have lots of questions, especially since they don't run an oil cooler. And I believe right side. I haven't had a chance to get it on a lift yet but the sound appears to be right side but mine is a dual exhaust

It follows the rhythm of the car speeding up but does it vary with load? CV axles typically won't behave badly when they aren't loaded.

It's quite noticeable when braking

Nothing that would make me cringe. I've been on a lot of the apexs and some curbs but nothing that you're not supposed to be on

Pretty strange to loose a CV that quickly. I have over 90K miles on my car, tons of track days, very low on coilovers. I just replaced my original CV's, but they didn't need swapped.

Then I'd pay attention to the brakes first, braking doesn't load the axles.
