There were a half-dozen or so other of us fueling up as this happened. After the sound was gone, we all just sort of looked at each other, shrugged and laughed. A couple of them did question the driver's heritage.

I tell this to ask, has anyone ever been in a situation where a bystander went 'Man, that's was so cool'?

I know I haven't.

No. But the children that do it weren't alive when it happened naturally. These anti social kids are so broken and starved of attention they have absolutely no idea how to get so they resort to insanities like this instead of putting the phone down and actually talking to people.

I feel we also need to mock vapers here. They are just as big of a loser as the fools that waste money on these awful tunes.

The pops and bangs/two step crowd is ruining local meets here. Constantly noise polluting which result in noise complains and cops show up.

The other group of moron truck/civic owners who show up and drift and do burnouts are sticking nails in the coffin.

It is also worth noting that you will Likley destroy your cam seals if you apply that tune to the FA20. It happened to a local in the 86 group which became way more noticeable when he went boosted later.

The only car I ever liked the pop and bang shit was the Jaguar F-Type SVR and even it sound like simple gargling. Some of these fools sound like Uncle Buck's car.

Not the same. The guy can work and I will support his right to do whatever he wants to his car within the law and maybe a little outside the law. Certainly would not be mean or violent, just trying to get the word out that this is just a fad and not cool. Big difference.

But I will always defend their right to spend their money how they want. Does not mean I can’t make some light hearted fun of them.

I'm not a fan of the widebody myself. I think most look terrible from the rear. The stance on this car is okay. Wheels, meh.

I'm all for people doing whatever they want to their cars. Stanced or slammed in notwelcome on this site and I think it's a shame. I'd like to see more examples and more details of the builds. Some of them are very well done IMO

I would have no problem if they made a slammed/stance section in these forums. Even though I don’t particularly care for that, nothing wrong with them doing it or discussing it. I mean it’s still a free country.

For me to invest that kind of money, it just opens up so many other options.

Although I could never do this, I am thinking a used stock twin is the deal of the century for an entry level sports car. It could be a track toy on a budget with not much comparing to it other than a Miata, maybe an s2000, but they are creeping up in cost.

Yep, usually caused by too many carburetors and/or bad timing.

Maybe if these young-ens would have spent a few 14 hour days sitting on top of an old John Deere "pow-pow" tractor, they wouldn't want their cars to sound like one -

It’s bagged so they raise it.

You're missing the point of this thread, sir. It exists solely for old men (or those who identify as old men) to bitch about others personal tastes, as is our birthright.
