Yes it is. Now we gotta start moving stuff out. When would be best to move out by? Before appraisal? Before settlement?

On the side note, good thing we went under contract. Office building close by went on fire today. & yes, all the townhouse is safe.

i don't remember-- did you guy's already buy another place?

i would move out as quick as possible. makes it easier to have time to unpack at the new place. packing up is easy, it's the unpacking that is the most painful/time-consuming part. all those things that 'just fit in that one spot', and now you've got to find a new spot...

i just opened up boxes from moving 4 years ago...

why would they want incandescents?

were they one of the first peoples to attempt switching over to cfl's, and went back to what they know after the constant failures? cfl's sucked. know a few people that gave up on any newer lighting tech because of how bad they sucked.

menards, the midwest home improvement store, for a while had a bulk supply of the old incandescent 60 and 100w bulbs. i bought a few packs for nostalgia. the 100w bulbs specifically for the niece and her ez bake oven phase later...

yep. someone told me that the newest ez bake ovens now use some sort of heating element, but they're even more terrible than the original design.

i'll never forget the one time my sister insisted on making us all cake for dessert one night. it was something like a 6 hour dinner that night.

Garage
I've got some main lighting fixtures from the mid-century that are part of the vibe and won't be replaced.
The florescent bulbs available for the last 10 years or so won't fit because the giant base on them doesn't have the same form factor.
They're too fat just above the screw base.

Only recently I've found some LED bulbs at a decent price with exactly the same form as the old incandescent lights.
These work great, and I can finally change them all out as the old ones crap out.
Work with dimmer systems too.

I would suggest you not move out before all contingences have been satisfied.

No contingencies. Simple 30 days transaction. But of course, they gonna do house check & appraisal. I’m thinking of fully move out when appraisal & bank approve the loan amount.

Congrats!

Ugm, when did buying and selling a house become more complicated than picking a life partner? Sounds like you sold it on match.com.
