Anyways, stock ride height -- I have springs and front camber bolts, just haven't spent the time to install them yet. Sitting on 225-50-16 BFGoodrich SportComp 2s. Thanks to DKFX Photography for taking the pictures at a local Subaru dealership meet.

You had to post pics like these on the same color car as mine didn't ya I'm lovin' the look! I always had a thing for MGB GT's and early Z cars with Mini Lites and this brings me right there. I've been trying to decide what to do for a summer setup and this has me written all over it. Just enough poke too. 225/50 or 235?

Hmmm, I'm thinking the only way to make this happen would be to hook up my wifes 06 Outback with something on my stock wheels so I can buy another wheel/tire setup for myself.

Oh the poke is perfect, it could use for a tad bit of negative camber up front but I still really like the way it looks. I lowered it on RS-R SuperDowns and the fitment is spot-on now. 225/50 tires. I really love the classic look it gives the car.

That is correct. I'm running about 2 degrees camber all around with no rubbing.

Ordered a set from Guerilla Racing yesterday! What is the proper lugnut SEAT to use with these wheels? I wanted to get them ready for when the new wheels arrive!

You will need the tuner style seat (conical) to use these properly. We use the Muteki SR48 open ended lug nuts on our Enkei Compes.

Also, we will be twins! Haha!

Thanks! I believe I have a set from an old Celica All-Trac project from years ago still around!

couldn't get it fully white from the hot lava color on ours, but this is the best I could do with limited skills! Kind of like the chrome grey color, haha.

Bumping this thread. I love the chunky tires on mine.

BF Goodrich Sport Comp 2 - 225/50/16
Eibach Pro-kit lowered 1 inch all around

Have not done my alignment yet but I have maxed out OEM camber bolts in the front, and natural camber in the rear. If I had to guess, I have roughly -1.2 degrees front and -1.8 degrees rear. I'll be swapping to camber plates and control arms next year for more precise camber control and to tuck these beefy tires in a bit more.

Your car looks great, @kbye!

I love the look of old school/vintage style wheels. But since TRD isn't selling the Toscos, I don't want to spend Wanatabe money on daily/style wheels, and I don't like Rotas; these are definitely my best option. Probably going to pick up a set for my car in the spring. I'm going to be doing TRD springs too, so the profile should be about the exact same as yours.

plastidipped

I bought all the stuff needed to plastidip my wheels but I was hesitant to pull the trigger because some of the pictures I saw online with the same color looked too orange for my taste. I couldn't find any Enkei Compe's plastidipped bronze so it was hard to tell what the finished product would look like.

I finally just went ahead and did it and this is how they turned out. I'm waiting for a drop to get some really good pics but I wanted to share this teaser with everyone.

Thread revival - just wondering why these poke so much? What am I missing here !? I currently have 17x8 + 30 (above pics are +25) and they fit really nice, don't poke at all.

Reason I ask is because I have about the same drop as the white car above, and I'm considering some TE37s at the moment, which are 16x8 + 42. Given I don't want poke, and will run same tyres as above, I'm wondering if these will sit just nice (i.e. fit inside guards).

Anyone on here with some expertise able to help me? And yes, I have done many googles and searches etc

16x8 +42 will be pulled in about 2/3rds of an inch so they should fit very nicely. Are there actually new 16x8 Volks out there or did you happento find a used set?
