When I used to race competitively (different platform), I would collect data and be making 0.5psi adjustments to tire pressures depending on track/weather.

I eventually got tired of that and just ran 32psi cold F/R and let the tires heat up to whatever psi they want which usually ended up being around 36F/34R (again, different platform).

On tighter tracks where the front end scrubs more, the front tires would heat up accordingly to prevent roll over.

The 2 different approaches had no major changes to my lap times as a driver. I'm happy as long as my tires are also decently happy.

Thank you all for the replies!

This would be my first time racing with my own car and setting it up hence the question, i really had no idea what pressures you should be running on the track. But now i have a pretty starting point!

On a side note, after checking tire rack i had NO idea the Cup 2's were that expensive overseas! The website quotes around 240$/tire which is kinda crazy. They revolve around 160$ a pop over here (smallest size, 225/45/17).

Well, every DM seems having different availability and pricing regarding tires.
In some cases, it's other way around, eg. more to streetable side, US twin owners can easily get 17" MPS4S, while EU is left in cold (regarding other tires of that class aswell, as Conti SC6 & GoodYear F1 SS also come only starting with 18").
