My brother just recently got an '83 two door, not quite a hachi but still has the 4-ac instead of the 1c. He's wanting to do a f20c swap into it, I'm really thinking a 4a-ge black top would be a better option though. He's just pissed cause he got it about 2 weeks before I got my fr-s and now regrets not grabbing the scion.

Yep, pretty much how his was, lol. I still remember the first day he got it. Even though it was a crappy SR5, he still had a shit eating grin on his face and loved it from the moment he got it. It has gone through so many changes over the years it's ridiculous but he's never wanted anything else. It has gone from the 4ac to the 4ag to the gze to now the beams setup. Outside it has had the zenki trueno, the kouki trueno, the kouki levin, to now the kouki levin with the modified zenki grill that fits the kouki fog lights.
Your car looks awesome my friend. You have any more pics or a link to a build thread? I'd like to see more of it. |

I've had a 1985 AE86 GT Apex Sprinter Trueno for nearly two years. I recently got a GT86 too.
My AE86 has just had it's engine rebuilt and blueprinted. This picture was from when Toyota Manchester used my AE86 for the GT86 launch party.

I have my old car next to my new one.
Plus I had my old drift one aswell. I can feel the similarities between the old and new 86 platforms. Just the abs and vsc keep reminding me that it is more modern than the old one! |

Hey Zenki.
I must admit, I haven't thought to post on the AEU86 forum. Maybe I should. Would love to get a pic of both of mine together, but we need to fit an engine first!

So is it only in the states the cars turn to rust because all these cars are mint overseas.
