@humfrz is referring to a mechanics stethoscope. Touch the stick to different parts in the engine bay to see where it's the loudest. You might be able to identify which bank is the problem or maybe some other part like transmission, but since it's so loud it might not help. Or might deafen you...
Yep oil level was spot on. I didn't get any low oil pressure warning yet either which after research I found should go hand in hand with a bad bearing.

It might be a dumb question but is this something ecutek software can confirm. I could just hook it up and do an analysis.

Probably won't deafen me, my ears are already going bad from my job.

Just my two cents, but my alternator came loose at one point. It got worse rather rapidly, but would only rattle under intermittent loads. May be worth checking your torques.

My gut feeling is that ecu logs aren't going to be very useful on this one. While there is a chance you'll see something out of the ordinary, I'm hesitant to recommend pulling some logs because the info isn't worth risking catastrophic failure, if the sound has getting drastically worse over a day.
