If you are going to go that route, you can just get a 3s LiPo battery and wire it inline with a charger that automatically turns on with ignition. You would only need something like a 2,200 mAh battery which weights less than 1lb and should provide between 11.1V and 12.6V. Here is an example: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=10279 Just 7 ounces. Supposedly a car draws 20-100 on cold cranking and that sucker should be good for up to 110A peak (peak C rating times capacity in Amps... so 50C x 2.2A capacity = 110A of current).
Edit: Just so you know my familiarity with those... we use them to spin up electric motors for flywheels at 36,000+ RPM. They are little 130 sized fuckers can draw up to 16 amps are are pretty beastly. Edit again..... http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=45130 That battery is better because it can provide 143A continuous and 286A peak (10 second load). Look how cheap it is too Last edited by Luckrider; 05-09-2016 at 01:18 PM. |

I haven't updated this in a while, but will definitely have some new goodies this week. I also put the 20,000th mile on it on April 30th. Took a picture, but totally forgot about it until just now.

Anthony, Im looking at your list with the weights, I didn't see anything about any sound deadening tar? You know, the sht they put under the carpet, usually have to chisel or dry ice...
Is there any?

there is a little, but not enough really worth getting at, there is a video or two with a serious track build showing them getting it out.

I figure even if it's less than a pound, anthony would've taken it out, just curious how much because other cars, there's usually at least a few pounds of it, worth it I think

I've got most of it out, but I still have to get the vertically-mounted bits out. Once it's all out, I'll weigh it as a whole. I think I've gotten about 4 pounds worth already.

Have you considered the wisefab front and rear kits? they have a grip kit for the front (evasive motorpsorts used it on their 2jz teal pikes peak car) which drops 15lbs off the front, and their rear kit is close to 30lbs redcuction, all with revised geometry and superior strength. Less camber, more even tire wear, better sue of tire contact patch and less weight. win on all accounts. accept the 5k price tag for it all lol
