usually between 930am and 1100am, or after 4pm if its summer; avoiding heatstroke is important! Closer to the middle of the day if winter.
Service manual I believe says between 5k and 7500 intervals. I don't have a copy of the manual on quick access... (doh)

Just getting others opinions, and some things on google are just bad advice, hence that's why we have these forums.

If you have your Toyota Care every 7.5months or 7,500 miles that is what is recommend in your manual. If your Toyota care has ended then same. You can use the same Toyota oil filter but I recommend a good synthetic oil if you don't have an oil cooler use a 0w30 instead of the 0w20(Toyota and Subaru only recommends this for good gas mileage.) The 0w30 will give you better protection. In fact Subaru recommends this in Japan that's what it is designed for. If you track your car they recommend castrol stx professional 5w40. Or you can do it your self vary easy oil change on these cars.

But for every day driving put in 0w30 or get an oil cooler or both, brand is up to you royal purple, castrol, mobil 1, redline, ect. Toyota uses mobil 1 at the dealer.

There's nothing wrong with the manual suggestion of 7,500 miles between oil changes.

I bought the car used and don't have the manual, so that's why I'm asking, but thank you for that, I appreciate it.
