Trunk Holes Covered + Morning Run Photos & Videos

Finally covered the trunk holes. They welded the holes with some aluminium plates and repainted it.

Here's a little picture from this weekend, me and my friends did a little gathering. The line ups are quite diverse, some AMGs, BMWs, and a GTR. We called it "Morning Run" here in Indonesia, where we drive from our meeting point to the end point via Highway, usually 80KM, we do have a speed limit here, but the police did not care anyway. During the Run, I managed to get 210Km/H. This is how we enjoy our cars.

*the police car here are 2009 mazda 6, 2007 lancer ex, 2006 toyota yaris sedan (vios)

Here's some video

Morning Run with Gas Carclub 4 February 2018

Had a lovely morning yesterday. Got invited to a Morning Run with Gas Carclub last sunday. It was 6:00AM when we gathered at in Plaza Indonesia, a shopping center in Central Jakarta. The line up was consisted of a few M4s and an M4 GTS, GTR, 911 carrera s, Gallardo spyder, and a California. It was raining heavily that morning, we had to cancel the morning run, because some of us were running semi slicks. We took a detour to a coffee shop.

Enjoy!

Did some head unit upgrade. I was using an old pioneer model, no bluetooth and the aux port was broken, it sucks. I finally decided to buy an android headunit. It is an Mtech MM8803, it was chinese made i think, with indonesian branding.

the headunit was good, looks simple and all, but there is one problem. The button on the side emits blue light, it looks out of the place for me. I can't change the color via setting, i can tore the headunit apart to change the leds and stuff, but it was too much work.

I decided to cover the entire button, and at the same time, made a frame to cover the annoying gaps. Made it out of a 1.5mm acrylic, laser cutted it into the shape and painted it black.

My calculation was a bit off, but a few sanding here and there did the job.

Here's the final product, looks oem. I've applied a matte screen protector to go with the frame and the matte carbon interior.

As for the headunit itself, ive installed an AGAMA Car Launcher, and dash command, however, my OBD module havent arrived so the gtr gauge is not working.

The headunit is only 180 USD. I've traded my old headunit with this one, so i only paid 100 USD. It's a bargain .
